Bighorn Sheep Hunting. To most these words cause the mind to flash to the thought of huge, curled-horned mountain sheep. This is far from the full extent of the generic name - Bighorn Sheep.
Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep inhabit western areas of Alberta and British Columbia (in the Rocky Mountains) in Canada. They are also found in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
Dall Sheep live in the remote mountain regions of Alaska, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories. It has a beautiful pure white coat.
The Desert Bighorn Sheep resides in the desert regions of Arizona, California, Utah, Colorado Texas, Nevada and New Mexico. Their habitat extends into the Baja California and Sonora, Mexico region.
Stone Sheep live in the mountain regions of British Columbia and the Yukon Territories of Canada.
