Gunbroker.com calls itself "The Web's Largest Hunting and Sport Shooting Auction." They appear to be right!
No other Web Site pops up on searches the way that Gunbroker.com does. And, if you go check out the site, you'll find all kinds of guns to buy.
All right, at times the site can get a little sticky -- for example, when deep in some sections, going back to where you wanted to be is occasionally a challenge.
But, to net it all out -- if you want to buy guns online -- this is the place to go!

Gun buying on the web can be tough. Gunbrokers is doing a great job to make the whole thing easier. They have a great on-going auction of guns -- people are buying and selling all the time!
The site is relatively easy to navigate -- in other words, after you work it for a while, you can figure it out. The only aggravating thing I found was the lack of "a way back" after diving into some portions of the site. I kept getting stuck (but, then, I was looking at some pretty arcane stuff that most of you won't care about!).
I recommend that you register on the site -- it's painless and Gunbroker has a good privacy policy -- then look carefully at the email you get back. It points you to the places that tell you exactly how to buy and sell items on the site -- including the incredibly important FFL location guide for wherever you are!
This is one gun auction worth visiting!

This site is about selling and buying guns. The auction inventory is extensive. You will know what you are doing and where you stand on every auction item.
You get ratings on sellers from previous buyers, which helps provide a feeling of security. Check out the agreement and other information after you register to really understand what an auction entails. Gunbroker.com does a good job of informing you what selling and buying at a gun auction really means.
There are a few content blips. "News and Announcements" really means "Systems Problems" -- the good news is that there were very few of these bombs over the past two years.
The industry news section appears to be a purchased service -- one of the latest releases (in February, 2004) was about a Telcom company who happened to have "Colt" in its company name.
So, go to this site to buy or sell a gun. That's what it is all about!
