Remington is one of our country's oldest, premier gun manufacturers. Its website is packed with goodies and support for the gun owner -- more than meets the eye!
Its Magazine and News sections have lots of information -- not just about Remington -- everything from state hunting rules to great recipes
Of course, you can't buy firearms directly from this site, but you can pick up a few of Remington's other products -- and they appear to be expanding their online country store.
Fun to go to, easy to navigate and lots of good information. Highly recommended by Hunter Buzz!

A trip through the Remington Web Site is a better experience than normally encountered in the world of gun manufacturers. Navigation is generally easy to follow and there is more interesting stuff than one commonly finds.
There are a few hidden treasures that could be a bit easier to locate -- for example, there's a complete law enforcement section that I stumbled across without meaning to. I also had to search for a while before finding out that Remington provides email responses to questions about guns (age, other information).
The site was quick both within sections as well as going from one section to another.
To summarize, the Remington Web Site is a strong, professional website that generally won't frustrate you as you browse. Well done!

Content Evaluation

This is where the Remington site shines. The magazine is excellent with lots of articles on guns, hunting, safety, etc. There are numerous free downloads (check the "reading room") and a section on recipes that covers the normal and the unusual. I'm all ready to try the Squirrel Jambalaya, the Woodchuck Barbecue Burgers and the Pigeon Italienne!
Of course, you can't actually buy Remington guns from the site. But they provide you with lists of authorized dealers, full spec's and suggested retail prices to help you decide what gun or accessory is right for you.
The have got a small "Remington Country Store" and are actively seeking input on what we would like to buy online. If you haven't already, I suggest you visit the site and vote today -- as gun enthusiasts we need to provide our input whenever we can!
There's lots more -- numerous boards for relaying your favorite "tall story" to the rest of the Remington enthusiasts. They even provide great wallpaper images to decorate you computer desktop.
Finally, their support services include all the options you might need. I even sent in an email regarding a Remington gun in my collection, and got back a complete response -- in a timely and professional manner.
